ReplyDeleteI am now a follower. Your prologue was great by the way. Oh and my first book I loved was The Little House in the Big Woods. It started me realizing how awesome it was to be able to visualize the world I was reading.

ReplyDeleteFirst book that inspired me?
ReplyDeleteBehind the Attic Wall. It was this crazy nifty story about an orphan adopted by old people in a cool castle like manor and this girl met these dolls that were totally alive and kind of like the previous owners of the castle thing. I have read it probably 20 times. Still love it.
My favorite book ( the first one I've ever loved --- and have probably read like 20,000 times) is a Wrinkle in Time :) Love it!
ReplyDeleteAnd ALSO!! I shared this on FB!! (Your probably wish I would have consolidated my reply's, eh? HAHA!)

ReplyDeleteI am a follower of your blog and the book that inspired me to continue and love reading was "Where the Red Fern Grows" many many moons ago.
ReplyDeleteI'm too am a follower. Sounds like you're the great grand leader :) I've enjoyed what you've shared SO far. When will there be more? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteSO, don't get me wrong, I'd love to win $$$ to buy a new book, but honestly I think what you're doing is really great, and...I'm a bit jealous :)
ReplyDeleteThe book that REALLY REALLY got me into reading was "Tuesdays With Morrie." I read it over and over and over again. I SO wanted to use ALL the advice Morrie gave...but alas (I STILL want to use that advice). Also, who's not inspired by Mitch Albom????
I'm SURE you wanted to know all that.
Only 3 comments/entries for me, I couldn't blog to save my life. How do I share a link that I recommended your blog on fb? I'm a little "special" if you know what I mean. Well, I shared on my fb page!

ReplyDeleteThe first book(s) that got me reading were the American Girl stories. I loved learning about history through the eyes of girls my age, even though they were fictional.
